I have 2 dogs, one is a black lab and she is like 10-11 years old, then the other one I have no clue what she is or how old she is we've had her for about 6 months, maybe a lil longer, but we got her from a dog shelter. So as you can tell these two dogs are very different. And I apologize now for anything that might make you sick but I need to know what's going on with them. Earlier today the younger one, Reese, got sick twice. I cleaned it up and let her outside. She is usually a very hyper and always full of engry. When I let her back in she has done nothing but really sleep, and at 1st she looked like she didn't feel good. Then the older one, Boo Boo, just got sick a like a half hour ago. Boo usually gets sick when she eats her food to fast and don't chew it. But they haven't eaten anything since earlier. And what I know of haven't had anything but dog food today. And this NEVER happens. I am scared are my dogs sick? Is there something wrong with their food? Please Help!!!!!!!!!!

oh and if this matters at all but Boo Boo (the older dog) has been sheding a lot lately. She has always sheded in the summer but NEVER this bad. What could be the cause of that?

I would sure take at least the younger one to the vet..Make an appointment as soon as you can if they are still sick in the morning..don't give anything but water until morning, and if they are still not eating, call your vet...It is impossible to diagnose the problem here, as it could be so many things..But, my first suspicion would be worms... I sure hope that is all that it is..

Edit: the fact of the older one shedding more than usual, is another symptom of worms...but, they really do need to see the vet.

Poor babies. There are several possibilities, but my first question would be are they up to date on their vaccines? Often the shelters don't vaccinate. Another thing to really look at is their fecal matter. Is it solid or diahrea? Take away their food for now and leave only the water out to keep them hydrated if they'll drink it. If the throwing up continues take them to the vet. It could be a simple matter of stress about something going on around them or it could be something much more serious that you want to catch as early as possible. Good luck. My thoughts are with you.

You ask a difficult question ... there is so many factors to consider
that can cause your dog to throw up .
> the first thing i would do is feed them cooked white rice mixed with boiled hamburger / this recipe is recommended for upset stomachs......try this for a few days ... * now if they do not respone in a few days and continue throwing up go to a Vet
>> you say you have not changed their dog food ..... ok
* its possible that your present supply of dog food may be contaminated ...... mold will make your dogs sick and throw up

I would take them to the vet just to be safe. There are MANY things that could be wrong. Have your dogs had the proper vaccinations? Could they have gotten in to something like a household cleaner? Either way call your vet tell them the symptoms and ask their opinion.

It could be the heat. Are they getting enough water? Or did they not go out for along period of time?
