Nope, it's just that your salivatory glands work very well. You're perfectly normal. But, try sleeping with your head leaned forward, this typically causes your mouth to close.

What the third person said may be true. Try a breathing strip on your nose and see if you breathe better while sleeping. It may reduce the possibility of you unknowingly opening your mouth. Also try sleeping on your back with your head propped up.

Lol, I do the same. Try sleeping on your back for a while and leaning forward does help some if you are on a bus or something. But becareful you don't fall forward.

is your mouth open a lot when you're awake? if so, it might just be a habit. try to keep you mouth closed all the time. and when you're going to sleep, make a conscious effort to keep your mouth closed until you fall asleep. *shrug works for me at least hehe... good luck!

a lot of people do this..i would not worry about it..i have noticed at times i do this myself..but i do not do it to often..so it is no big deal...justs leaves a spot on your pillow case.....it could be from sinus or from drainage from your throat...but as long as it does not happen all the time i would not worry about it..if you ever visit a doctor you could ask them to be sure..but babys do this all the time you know...so i would not worry about it..i know we are not babies but it may just be head draining too...

I'm sorry to say this but "KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSED" i just wanted to let you know just try to stop having your mouth hang open and this is a habit because it happened to me before. I never ever had my mouth open again i just keep it closed.

it's not EW...it's something EVERYONE does...
but my guess is you don't breath properly while sleeping...
some have nasal congestions and use their mouth to breath rather than through their nose..
it's normal..
just ask ur doctor to prescribe nasal congestion sprays like AFRIN...
au revoir

Your mouth may be open because it is hard to breathe from your nose.
