I am tired of hearing this crap, were the hell do people get this from, they are so many latino from diferent place.

Mexicans are from Mexico
colombians are from Colombia
puerto ricans are from Puerto Rico
cubans are from Cuba
and ext...

Puerto Ricans are NOT illegals so when you are talking about latinos being illegal.
you are saying we are too, which we are NOT.. so it is not fair for us people from PR
to be included in this illegal thing. now sudenly every latino is from Mexico..What?
Do they teach history in school? These teachers are a rip-off. I don't care if you call me latina
but don't call me illegal or Mexican (No offense to those) but the reality is we are not from Mexico.

Absolutely not, but the sad state of affairs in the world is that:
1. Some people are knowledge ignorant
Have you ever heard of the phrase never judge a book by it's cover? Well some people are more likely to pass judgement on others without even bothering to ask you for your first name. It's sad honestly, but the way to defeat such thoughts is to have an open mind and learn as much as you can about other cultures
2. Some people are just plain racist.
This one really bothers me. We as a culture still have a long way to go before we can get to a point of accepting one another and judging people on a case by case scenario. Some people are racist because they are afraid of maybe losing something (job, money, voting rights, etc). Some are taught to be racist by others (my father would always try to convince me when I was young to not turn white, not listen to rock and such...ridiculous but the truth).Which is ridiculous, if you lose something or don't obtain a certain level at something, it's because YOU didn't work hard enough to get where you want to get. You often hear, well I couldn't get a job today because of this and that. It's rarely due to a factor of race or where you come from.
3. What do they teach us in school?
Obviously not enough, I think the education system has to do a better job of teaching about other countries around the world. It's truely sad how much we culturally really know nothing about the Middle East or other regions around the world. Some probably don't even know that you or your ancestry came from a country that is actually a United States commonwealth and territory. However, if such education is not provided, I feel that people should take it upon theirselves to take up information and increase their own knowledge. Knowledge is power.

There are many other reasons why people have these ridiculous thoughts. This includes other scenarios as well as why middle easterners are all terrorists (absolutely INSANE way of thinking), why islam is all about destruction and murder (STUPID!!), and it also stems from the reasoning of some of my own race who claim that whites are holding them back from further development (Some folks in our own race aren't doing anything themselves to advance). So people, please make an attempt to learn about the world about you before making generalizations about a race, religion, culture, etc. Judge people based on their individuality, their character, their personality, etc. And if you aren't certain of something, don't be afraid to ask questions first before assuming. If things happened as such, the world would be on much better footing than it is at current. Peace and love everyone!! ^@^

Many P.R. women I've seen are just like out a Miss Universe pageant...LOL. Which is absolutely a gratifying thing to see. Oh crap...just made a generalization. I'm racist!!!! lol

First AMERICANROSES You are not open mind not 99.9% babys are illegals where do you come with your figures, 2ND I am from Mexico was born and raze in Mexico thing in my life happen that i became a USA citizen many year ago my children are born in Colorado 6 by the way yes we like large families however 3 are natural I adopt 3 more AMERICAN citizens now 1 in the Air Force the other in the Marines I am Latino and I'm nor illegal my own family is faithing for the very freedom that all people in this section are putting in jeopardy remember we are a country with many different ideas and points of view we have a problem yes illegal immigration but calling them names making 2ND class citizens or sending people to their own countries DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM i YOU GO TO THE MARKET IN THE CORNER OF YOUR STREET 2 OR 3 TIMES AND THEY never HAVE WHAT YOU NEED sooner or later you will stop going to that store, same with illegal emigration if the do not find a job because there illegals then they maybe don't com back bu as longer some one is give them a job then they will be coming back I know my spelling is not good but I make my point so don't tell my about it thanks.

There is a large amount of illegals form Mexico, but not all, people of Hispanic origin (other countries) as well as other people of other races and origins from other countries here illegally are just as illegal, Puerto Ricans, Germans , french, Chinese ares just as illegal as Mexicans if not documented properly. If you are Puerto Rican and here legally , no problem and you should not be categorized as illegal. If you are GO HOME

not all people from south and central america are here in violation of US immigration laws. not all people here in violation of US immigration laws are from central and south America. I Do not dislike Mexicans, or Latinos I dislike people who as there first act in this country violate our laws, and who by their very presence in this country are violating our laws. I am not saying that all people who come here illegally will commit murder, theft or rape but, there is a legal path to take and if people were to follow it and stop coming here illegally there could be more slots opened up for legal immigrants.

any country can only absorb a certain number of new residents each year before it starts to stress the infrastructure. I am not sure of the number of people who come here illegally but my point is this. if they were to wait in line there would be fewer people coming into this country and we could evaluate the number of people that we would allow in and admit the maximum number of people possible without stressing our infrastucture. by having people cut in line the government must have a lower number of slots for immigrants each year to keep the rise in population to a small enough number.

I don't think most people generalize like that. I think most people only are mad about Illegal immigrants and not hispanics in general. It's more about anger from them stealing and cheating the system than about race, at least from what I've seen out here in AZ
