now he is ignoring me with a smug look on his face...like he is trying to win at some game...i think that he is trying to control me in a very childish way...i am not liking it at all...i am not a teenager...not even close to being young...i am 36 and he is 29...how can he not understand that i just don't like him to follow me around like a puppy?...now of course he pouts about it and takes my words to the extreme...i don't have time for these kid games...anymore advice?...it appears that i am horrible at this relationship thing... :(

well when someone says they need space is because they actually don't want to be with that person anymore....and that's your case....
