It is based on the individual..peace comes through a surrendered life in Christ ..otherwise there is no peace to the wicked Isaiah 48:22.There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.
So to say people seek peace..maybe ..maybe people seek it but if they are not seeking for Jesus they will never find it...God bless

Really?
This just furthur proves my reason why I will never be religious, only spiritual; it is peaceful.
I think it's terrible that a bible will proclaim such a thing: We are capable of it, and I truly believe that the Creator would want us to have peace...hmmm...this sounds like the bible is against other religions; buddism practices peace.

As long as there is sin in this world, there will be no peace. Only when the "Prince of Peace" comes and makes everything right will there be true peace. However, you can have the peace that passes all understanding in your heart if you trust Christ as you Saviour.

sometimes people seek "peace" in the wrong places> (psychics, reading cards, etc.) what we should be doing is praying to Jesus that he may be our comforter and he will if we earnestly ask him! peace.
