I have been to Hawaii twice, it is truly my sanctuary. In 2007 at least 7 members of my family want to plan a trip there together. . .I know it will be fun but also stressful with 7 different people with 7 different personalities. A part of me just wants to travel with my husband there, but I feel I'm being selfish. Any suggestions or opinions?

You're being selfish.
It's a family vacation and a chance to you, or your husband, or both, to experience it.
Be thankful you have a family willing to share time together.

Don't discount Oahu btw. I know you've been twice and as a couple I'm sure you've found your favorite island, but Oahu has something for everyone, from ocean kayaking at Lanikai, to the North Shore to watch surfing, or visit the Polynesian Culutral Center, etc...too many people think big city when they think of Oahu. There are some condos outside Honolulu, on the Western shore in Ihilani, that might be good for a family.
Otherwise you've got condos on the other islands to choose from of course.

It may be more enjoyable than you think. Lay out some ground rules before you agree to go althogether. They won't necessarily be following you like little puppy dogs everywhere all the time. Give them options, tell them what is available and tell them that you and your husband are going to want to do a little something just the two of you while you're there. If they can't accept it, screw 'em and have a good time anyway. How can one not enjoy Hawaii? They'll have a blast and thank you no matter what.
