You don't. I was in your gf's exact same position, I could not get over an ex and for a while no one I dated seemed to compare, I was still focused on my ex.
She has some things to work out on her own. She already has dumped you, thats a huge red flag something is wrong. Dump her, let her work out her feelings, be there as a friend if need be, but you aren't going to just make her forget her ex. If you were going to "sweep her off her feet", it would have happened by now.

Why do people go back to exes? What was wrong with them in the first place and why would you want her to take you back if she broke up with you because you felt she was spending too much of her time thinking about another guy? Son Listen to yourself, stop whining and go find a girl that loves you and and doesn't need to talk about her ex because she is too busy talking about the way you two make each other feel

If she can't forget about her ex, then that means that she still has feelings for him. You need to ask yourself if you're willing to stay with a woman who is unable to give her heart to you because it's still with someone else. If the answer is no, then you need to extract

you cant make a person interested in you more if there mind is on someone else she needs time to get over and forget the last before she can focus on you. she may need more time

Focus on being a better boyfriend. If you are doing the best that you can, and she still isent responding, then i would move on. She might still be in love with the other guy, and if she is, there is nothing that you can do.
