If a person has the kind of attitude about sin that you describe, I would question whether he truly is a Christian. Anyone who reads the Bible knows that premarital sex is "a big deal."
As a Christian, I strive to live a sin-free life. Do I ever fail? Yes, every day, but I am still striving to live a life pleasing to God.
In a sense, we do receive "brownie points" for doing good. The Bible teaches that when we get to heaven (those of us who are going to heaven) we will be rewarded for the good works we have done on earth.

Well first the bible does say by doing God's will you will receive rewards in heaven. It also says in Hebrews 10:26-27
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
So don't be flippant about the Sacrifice of Jesus.
Last God didn't make sin, sin just for fun there are direct consequences for Sin in this life. The case of per-martial sex, we are built to develope our relationships in a certian order, sex should last in that order. I also belive that more then phiscal act occurs when having sex and if you do so whith many other parterns it effects you on a spirtual level.

Okay, being brought up Catholic, this was my understanding.... if you sin in your life, and you are genuinely sorry for what you did, you will be forgiven. If you go through your life sinning, thinking "well, I can sin now, and just say sorry to God later", then you're not really sorry, and you will not be forgiven.
I'm not saying this is what all Catholics or Christians believe, that's just how I understood it.

Paul addresses this in Romans:
"Or can we say-as some people slander us by claiming that we say-"Let us do evil that good may result"? Their condemnation is deserved!" (Romans 3:8)
And
"What should we say, then? Should we go on sinning so that grace may increase? Of course not! How can we who died as far as sin is concerned go on living in it? Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into union with Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?" (Romans 6:1-3)
Besides, we are called to this:
"So whether we are at home or away from home, our goal is to be pleasing to him." (II Corinthians 5:9)
