Nowadays, men are renigging on being in the driver's seat, so women are taking over, becoming stronger than men.
The belief back in the day, was the man was supposed to be the Protector and Provider of his family. So he had the privilege of making choices of whom he wanted to spend his time, money and energy on, in preparation for a future mate. It put the Man in the driver's seat, to be the one to do the selecting.

This is old fashioned but it always worked well this way. Read some old diaries and books. Maybe you'll get it.

A woman can and does ask a man out- but - all women do. Some like to be asked out and wait for the man to ask- that way they won't get rejected if they ask- there is no risk. Whoever does that asking does take the chance of getting turned down. If that happens just move on. There are so many more that will say yes.

I believe that if a man is interested he would approach the woman the correct way and A Woman will ask a guy out it's just that some men are intimidated by a woman that is so very confident and sure of herself that if she likes what she sees she will GO AND GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would the woman want to? Why would the woman want to give up all that power and become vulnerable? Given the testosterone driven rutting madness that blinds men, a woman can just sit back and take her pick. If some particular one is a little slow, just wriggle the bait a bit, he will ask.

It's not anybody's "job". Men are somehow expected to ask but some say they would appreciate if the woman walked up to them and asked. However, some of my guy friends say they would be suspicious of a woman asking them and would turn her down. So I don't know what to tell you. I'm just surprised anybody manages to get laid nowadays.

It's not the mans job,But are you going to sit around waiting for the girl you want to ask you out? I think not! Its like holding your breath till you win the lotto.....your going to die first so stop crying about it and just ask her already...you could be out on a date with that sexy thing rather then sitting home asking people that you don't know questions that you know the answer to anyway!!!

It's not the man's job to do it...there are plenty of girls out there who are asking guys out !!...but it's just so gentle and caring and HOT when a guy asks out...if he doesn't show he is MAN ENOUGH TO COME UP TO YOU AND ASK YOU OUT, WOULD HE BE ABLE TO HANDLE HIMSELF AS 'THE MAN OF THE HOUSE' WHEN YOU GET MARRIED!? ....um...don't know about that!!! lol

Women do that all the time. Whenever I walk the streets in a major city, women are always asking me if I want to go out,or do I want to party with them. And they seem to congregate on certain corners, whee there are men dresed in very colorful clothes.
