How could God have turned Miriam white when she was angry with Moses for marrying a Cushite (Black/Dark).

How did this happen?

Moses: Suppose everyone refuses to listen to my message, and no one believes that you really appeared to me?"

Voice of God: What’s that in your hand?

Moses: A walking stick.

Voice of God: Throw it down.

(The stick turns into a snake and Moses jumps back.)

Voice of God: Pick it up by the tail!

(Moses picks it up and it turns back into a walking stick.)

Voice of God: Do this, and the Israelites will believe that you have seen me, the God who was worshipped by their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Put your hand inside your shirt.

(Moses puts his hand inside his shirt, and when he takes it out, it is as white as snow.)

Voice of God: Put your hand back inside your shirt.

(Moses puts his hand inside his shirt again, and when he takes it out, it looked just like the rest of his body.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALREADY WHITE!

Wasn't the whiteness leprosy?

Color of skin/ethnicity doesn't matter to God. He is no respecter of persons. There are those from "every tribe, tongue, and nation" in heaven. No more Jew nor Greek, male or female...all are one in Christ.

I'm sorry I'm not a smart man - but skin pigment? Restoring a mans hand from a sun burnt laborer hands to that of fully restored health, as he was when young?
Also white is relative compared to your family genes, and neighbors genes. Humans range from albino to very dark - it means nothing. What is important is the spirit and mind. (as you know)
Moses and his people were the color they were due to where they lived, what they ate, and exchanged genes with during populating their world.
Humans are like that today, because were related - were human!

They were Semites. They would look like most Middle Eastern people groups, such as Arabs and Persians.

The white that Moses and others received was a leprous skin disease, not necessarily Hansen's disease.

Moses had a nice tan from spending all that time outdoors.
(You know, leading the Israelites back to the promised land.)
