They are two types of animals you can find negative and positive qualities in both of them. Cats stink house up with litterbox. Dogs chew things. But if I had a choice it would be a dog.

That's hard to decide. Dogs become very close companions, and are intelligent and obey commands, but they need a lot of care, feeding, and going outside to the bathroom. Cats are more self sufficient, don't need to be outside, and some are affectionate and want to sit with you all the time, but they won't understand as much as a dog will. If you want interactive friend pets, you want a dog. If you want a pet that doesn't need much attention, goes bathroom in a pan, and stays in the house, then you want a cat.

dogs have a better reputation then cats.....so many times on the news, it was a dog that saved someone's life....a dog is trained to help investigate crimes....its a dog on the firetruck...dogs help blind people and disabled people....so many miracles occured because of dogs.....and basically, a dog will always be there for you....very faithful to its master....a dog will protect you....cats are known for running away or being shy....and most cats won't protect you during danger....also, some cats have the evil look....have you seen a skinny white cat with red eyes? or cats with yellow eyes that somehow in a semi-dark room? true, that it is clean and easier to maintain a cat...and maybe cats have done extravagant things....but dogs do more then they do....

depends on what kind of pet you are wanting. If you have alot of time on your hands, a dog is better, if you are busy alot a cat is better. Cats sleep most of the day so they dont require alot of attention.
But if I had to pick one, I would say cats!

I think that dogs are better and that they can understand us and relate to us a lot more. Cats? o.O All they do is lick themselves, purr, poop, and sleep A LOT! Dogs like to play with you, you can teach them a lot of cool tricks and they are obedient. They're much more helpful too because when they get used to your commands they really help you get things done around the house.

dogs hunny there the best there a good walkin partner if u like to walk and they can be playful and loyal when u need a buddy sure cats can do tht but they relly dont care about u there more into themeselves

cats r better they r more cuddly,less maintenance,more attentive, were on the other hand if ur alone u want a dog just 4 security i still say a cat

neither, its a matter of what your personality is and the animal you are going to take care of, dogs look at humans as their pack leader, they follow you and do most anything to please you, cats are much more reserved and treat you as an equal , not boss ever. so are you wanting someone to follow you and slobber on your heels or someone to sit on top of the fridge and say if you dont like hair in the icecream , well tough luck.
