I know it's really stupid, but when I was younger I feared carbinated beverages. I didn't want to touch soda and stuff because I thought it was gross and sticky. I still don't drink soda or like touching it. It is really odd, but it seriousely freaks me out.

I can't go to sleep until the closet door is shut tight. I am a grown woman, but I have always had to do this in any room I have slept in my whole life.
When I was a little girl around 4 or 5 yrs. old we lived in a 2 story house in Pittsburgh. My Mom, Dad, 2 brothers and I all had bedrooms upstairs. One evening before bedtime I was in my brother Phillip's room. My Mom called to me that it was bedtime, so I got up off of the floor and walked past his closet towards the door.
BLOODCURDLING SCREAM, I saw a green hand in my brother's closet and ran out of that room and into mine.
Of course, nobody believed me or even checked, I slept with a nightlight for many years after that and those closet doors stay shut.

When I was younger, I was *really* phobic about revolving doors because I got stuck in one and when it was the only way out of the building, I'd close my eyes and run through it sining mary had a little lamb. I got over that though. Now it's pretty much just bugs and heights. bugs freak me out. I know in theory it's a tiny little thing that can't hurt me but it's so gross. I have the girly reaction of jumping on a chair and screaming.
Not really funny but I was watching maury one day and there was a girl who had a pickle phobia and the host brought out this huge pickle jar and she ran out of the studio screaming and crying...LOL

I cant stand ice in a paper cup (like a cup from McDonalds) it drives me insane, I have to cover my ears and get away from it. It makes my anxiety level go thru the roof!
I also can't stand cat hair on the furniture or floors or on my clothing,
Another thing that I can't stand and I will freak out about is the alarm clocks that beep beep beep.. I freak out screaming and stuff. My husband says I need hypnotherapy...i can't stand alarm clocks and its hard to find one that doesnt beep!

Well there is this halloween statue/decoration in our house that we call lurch. If you turn him on he breaths heavily and his eyes move. He is full human sized. Whenever it's dark and I'm alone in the house, I'm affraid he's watching me, or that some guy went inside of him and is just waitng to jump out. I just keep thinking his eyes are gonna move and he's gonna start walking. It's ALIVE! LOL.
