Although I'm unhappy with some things in my past, I don't think I would change them. I like the point I'm at now and maybe if I had changed things, I wouldn't be at such a good point.

A lot of times, I wish that my eyes would have been more open to the situation my father was living in before he took his life. I feel like I should have done something different. But, then I try to remember that there was more to it than I could have helped with, that he was an adult and I believe he had a right to die (he was sick - one of the things I couldn't do anything about), and that he wouldn't want me to feel that way. But I feel that way just the same.
Everything else... nope. I've done some pretty stupid crap, but it's made me who I am, so there's no way I'd change anything else about the past. As I go through life, though... I hope I never stop finding things to change and improve about myself. Sometimes you have to really fight to see yourself clearly, though - it's not easy.

A few years ago, I would have said that I hated everything about my life and what it was turning into.
But now, in hindsight, I understand that I wouldn't be who I am today, with the wise knowledge and perspective that I now have, to be able to pursue my goals.
I would not try to change anything ever because I now know that there is a fate.

I would change things, yes, many things, but admittedly, I understand they are small forks in the road. I feel that as far as major forks, as far as those I can predict the altertives to, I have taken the right roads!
As for the small forks, they are small regrets. Things I would have rather done than not done, and vise versa, and this forum is not appropriate for such personal exposure.

I would not have dumped my college girlfriend.
I spent the next ten years looking for someone just like her. There were lots of lonely times.
But, I would not have met my wife, and had two wonderful sons...I guess everything worked out allright, after all...

If I did, I wouldn't have my son. And if I didn't have my son I wouldn't have come closer to God.
And I went through enough pain and ruddy BS to give someone post traumatic stress for years.
But my life isn't about me, it is about God. And I can see Him in my life, even in those bad times.

every experience and every path i have taken has led me to where i am today. my life is good and i'm happy. i would relive every moment of my life, even the worst of the worst, if that's what it took to get me where i am.

I wouldn't change my past, good bad or indifferent it has made me who I am today again... good, bad, or indifferent = )~ But I think I'd like to be more open-minded about marriage which has always scared me.

no, grant it I'm only sixteen, but my life is great, and any and all mistakes I have made, I am glad for because they are lessons learned, and I know my future is inGods hands, I just have to wait a little, while He decides for me a convent to enter :)

I am happy as I am so I would not attempt any changes. If I am not happy, I need to change myself to be happy!
