My left hand gets really numb everyday....I do play the guitar alot and am on the computer alot...Any help if it could be serious or not...

are you on the computer a lot, play video games, or do other things (like play guitar) that are finger-use intensive?
You may have carpal tunnel syndrome... it frequently causes numbness. Check your doctor to find out for sure though.

If you are near 40 get blood sugar level, blood pressure checked. See your doctor. You said 'every day', so why to wait till it becomes something serious ?
