Just start avoiding him. Only return a few calls and start dating others.

Make him want to break up with you by finding out what he hates about girls and being that girl! May take awhile if your in a hurry have a friend come onto him very strongly and them "catch them" and pretend to be heartbroken and don't give him a chance to explain it wasn't him! I only had one guy not respond to my sexy friend he said did I pass? He knew it was a set-up him and I are still friends today (15 years later)

YOu ask him to come over or you go to his house. You sit down wtih him and tell him as nicely as you can that you want to break up. Don't offer excuses or hints or say you want to be friends or some other crap. Just say that it's not what you want and that you are breaking up. Wish him good luck and apologize for hurting him.

Put yourself in his shoes. Imagine there is a guy you like and you know its coming, he is definitely gonna break up w/you. What is the best possible way to do it to spare your feelings, brutal honesty or a few white lies to make it go down easier. What would you want? Be nice;)

Honestly, If he doesn't want the break up, there really is no such thing as a good break up, That's why its a BREAK up, Sorry, but you might want to try a public place, so not to cause a seance.

GOOD LUCK!

Just straight out tell him you finished. No need to go into some kind of song and dance. Just do it quick. I'm sure he would like to move along to his next girlfriend in line.

just tell him how you feel it does not matter where or when talk to him in Private don't be completely alone just tried to make it private some guys can be very sensitive others can be complete jerk. just be carefully what you say to him don't be to tough on him and tell him maybe you could still be friends hopefully he will understand. good luck.

Don't worry about being gentle. When you're breaking up, the time for gentleness has passed.
Just be normal.
