Any authors like Tim O'Brien, but about Desert Storm?

I love how Tim O'Brien writes about Vietnam, especially in "The Things They Carried". Are there any similar authors for any books about Desert Storm?

Otherwise, I'm not looking for a reference book on the Desert Storm, but more of a fictional/novel-like approach.

Have you already read Anthony Swofford's "Jarhead"? It's not fiction, but it's hardly a reference book. A memoir, and very readable.
