By boiling it until the meat is falling off the bones. That's the easiest way to do it that I can think of.

The easiest route is buy it already deboned

Foodtv.com has videos on it. Read about it and understand the anatomy of the chicken (which is the same for all poultry) and you'll get a better understanding of it. You find the joints, and you cut through them.

If you wanted to cut your own arm off, this is just for example's sake, you would cut through the shoulder joint, because the joint is what's holding everything together. If you did that to a chicken, you'd have a "wing with tip"

There are lots of techniques to bone a chicken. Some are meant for speed, some are meant for getting the most possible meat. Just save the bones and make a small stock! It will make your dish so much better when you use it! Stock rocks!

Good luck with this one! My mom tried to teach me that years ago! I can cook anything but still cannot properly debone a chicken!

Turn the bird breast side down, remove the back by making an incision on each side of the bone and cutting through until you have cut and remove the backbone. cut the tips of the wings off, and then take the knife an scrape it against the breast pulling the meat off the bone from the inside of the bird, push the remaining part of the wing through the cavity and remove, cut away the meat from the leg and thigh and remove the bones. The key is to scrape the bones and pull away the meat with tearing the skin. I have done this many times, its easier to explain by demonstration,

Why would you want to do that?
Won't it be very painful for the chicken?

I know it seems easy when you see a pro on television do it but the key is to have a sharp knife and one that is made for boning meat.
