No, I don't believe that the rapture will occur until Jesus comes and He sends the angels to gather us up right after the great tribulation ends and the wrath of God is poured out on all the unrepentant sinners who are left here on earth.
Matthew 24:21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. 29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

With the current political stuff going on in europe and
the middle east and learned that interestingly enu, all of the nations that prophetically are against Israel during the tribulation period are already in political situations that align them with nations that are currently at war with or strongly oppssed to Israel. But even more interesting is that of all the many muslim countries over there, 2 are taking politically neutral positions towards Israel, one of which is egypt the other i dont remember. What makes that neutrality so odd is the 2 countries are 90%+
muslim population and are the only 2 countries NOT mentioned by prophecy to be among those who go to war with Israel in the tribulation week. Magog "which is actually Russia i hear" is mentioned as being one of the major powers that go to war with Israel in the last days, and interestingly enough, the missles that are being lobbed right now at Israel not only came from Russia, but through political ties Russia is also backing their use
against Israel now and due to those ties, If things heat up too much more between Israel and Lebanon, Russia will be stepping into the war oO.So Basically the entire political alignment in the world right now is exactly matched to what it is in the tribulation and since antichrist reveals himself AFTER Jesus comes for us....

It depends on what you mean by the word rapture. There is no biblical proof of God taking Christians out of this world before some sort of tribulation. We will all be raptured when Christ returns which, of course, could be at anytime.

I can't wait for that day when we meet him in the air however, only God knows when that day will happen. God will not send his son to come back until that last ear has a chance to hear the gospel. But we are to be ready. Watch and pray.

According to the book "The Bible code" something major happens this very year. But I'm not buying into it.
Some other projections call the year 2012 significant. Guess we'll see.

Could be any time but no one knows for sure except for God, but things are heading that way and it could definitely be in our lifetime if things keep progressing as they are.

after i've had two dreams kind of depicting the end of the world i don't think it's gonna go any longer than maybe 2010. But i can't for sure, it was only a dream, which has stopped me from carrying on thinking what I might do in my future life...you know, family and work...and i still can't get myself to think of me in the future. only God knows

It is pointless to guess. Even Jesus said that no one but the Father knew when the end of days would come. It would be nice though.... meeting Jesus in the clouds then ascending with him to heaven....
