It's a rather ignorant statement to say, "God is crap." It's not only going to start a huge controversy, it's going to offend a lot of Christian's.

However, think about it in a logical manner. In biblical times we didn't have the technology to comprehend how we came to be and what Humans fear even today, is the unknown. Without the knowledge of how we came to be, we decided to make something to explain our existance, hence the Bible.

Let's relate this to Indian tales. When the Indian's weren't sure how something worked, or something existed, they made up a folklore story to explain it in their own way, and illustrate what they were trying to explain, so their tribe would know what it was, and not fear it because it was unknown.

Ib Biblical times, they used the Bible as a security blanket, something to hold on to as truth, absolution. Back then it was the only reasonable explanation for how we came into existance, so people passed it on.

When you think about it... it makes sense. Remember, we're believeing stories of Christ from the same people who thought the world was flat. We've proven the world isn't flat, it's only a matter of time before we come up with enough evidence to disprove the existane of a higher diety.

People have the freedom to use their mind and believe in whatever diety they think is right or works for them. Most grow up believing in the jesus faiths, and everyone is free too their opinion.

"hell" on the other hand is not a physical place, being one who has reincarnated multiple times i can say there is no lake of fire, no hell as is described in the bible. there is no heaven, no god or jesus as is described in the bible when you die..i have never met these "dieties"

The Xtian religion today is a holy death cult..be savd or else, you'll die being poked by tiny horns and plagues of locusts.

If jesus is so great then why would be want to come by back here for ten seconds? You can sin by walking out your door.

People have been thinking he's gonna return since the middle ages. All the plagues, disease, death, famine, war, and misfortune.....and people die and cross over and are in for a shock.

people are entitled to what they believe in. if it is true or not. i believe in a god and some other religious beliefs. i do not belong to a certain religion though. that is called agnostic. not atheist who believe that there is no such thing as a god.

what ever you believe is up to you. if you think god is crap then you can. and the people who say that your going to hell or whatever that is what they believe in. to this day there is not actual evidence to a higher being (god) to prove religion. however you evaluate and understand religion and god is up to you.

though you could say it a little nicer so you don't hurt those stupid bible banging losers feelings.

God is THE name we give to that which is BEYOND OUR COMPREHENSION.
Remember everything in the universe is perfect, The recipies for everything, events, disasters, deseases,celebrations ,wars, catosrophies, are all perfect. WHY? because if you analysed 'the ingredients' of any event ,they would be the perfect ingredients for that event to take place......in other words PERFECTION. It is what you would expect to happen 'GIVEN A SET OF 'INGREDIENTS' otherwise it would not have happened...would it?

Well, I wouldn't say that. What is your perception of god? that "he" is separate? something far away? Making plans for little you?

My perception is that when you are lying in bed and you are just staring into the ceiling or glow in the dark star, and you are not really thinking, just experiencing, not expecting... just existing- That is pretty close to what god is. Lots of good books on the subject.
