I know god said he was the one and only god, but who would listen to him if they knew there was a god above him.

I would imagine God was created by his parents. I really don't think he just "appeared" all grown up and all alone.

since when did you meet God or hear him say anything? What you mean is that you read in a book that God said he was the one and only - if you want to twist the facts you should become a politician - I do believe that there are many Gods but only one supreme Lord of whom we know nothing about at all - but then, in saying this, I am not claiming it as fact - it is just my belief.

Quite likely you are right. The one we know about gets jealous, angry, remorseful, suspicious, happy, etc. There may be a larger one who basically doesn't care all that much, or perhaps has more important things to deal with than a race of tiny idiots on a tiny planet.
