Ive had my loaf of bread for about three weeks, and i keep it sealed in a plastic wrap, although there is air in it. Ive been checking to see if there are any signs of mold but there isnt anywhere on the bread. How long does it normally take?

It depends on conditions like how many spores were present in the bread to begin with, the ingredients, and moisture. I have a loaf right now that is over a month old with no mold, but it's hard as a rock.

no longer v. long i'd desire to declare, approximately one to 3 days incredibly. yet once you place it interior the freezer, this prolongs the bread's shelf life so it may final somewhat longer, and particular, if the bread tastes high-quality and seems high-quality without mold/bacteria enhance, then sure i think of this is high-quality to consume the bread. and additionally in case you warmth it/toast the bread, it may kill any probably hidden/'invisible' bacteria enhance interior the bread. in case you choose to maintain the bread as much as a week after the perfect earlier date, then you certainly incredibly gotta placed it interior the freezer nicely suited from the commencing up, and take out some slice, some hrs earlier you choose to consume it, to enable it defrost certainly. i'm no longer a bread professional, yet whilst this is been extra desirable than a week after the perfect earlier date and deosn't look to flavor or look ordinary, i'd nonetheless discard it, as you never comprehend if there is any microscopic bacteria/fungi in it, and it fairly is often perfect to be risk-free than sorry!!!

It must be full of nasty preservatives. If you keep good quality bread in the fridge it will last longer.
