Yeah and that was back in the late 70's and he is still alive and in a prison in the Hudson Valley for the criminally insane, not a regular prison with just thugs.

Right now we have two serial killers running around Phoenix and we can't even go anywhere alone or even drive to work without looking at everyone and wondering where they will be next. Sorry. But these two serial killers have stuck multiple times within a mile of my house.

Nobody should be executed...it makes us look like a bunch of barbarians. Berkowitz was told to kill those people by his neighbors dogs...do you really think he was sane?

I think women who get strung out on meth and abandon their kids should be executed...how does that sound to you? Wouldn't that save lots of kids?

My husband's ex-step-mother worked at his prison and actually played volley-ball with him. She said he's a 'nice guy'. I think he should be killed. It's less money us taxpayers have to pay to allow him a better balanced diet than most and more leisure time time than most. Send him to God, let him decide what to do with him. He is not providing anything worthwhile to society here in this life.

Anyone that takes another life should be put to death after proved guilty. Period. I think we should bring back the guillotine and tree hangings and public floggings. It would slow some of these bastards down maybe.

THAT IS A GOOD QUESTION.
I STUDY MANY SERIAL KILLERS.
BELEIVE IT OR NOT, I AM MARRIED TO ONE.
WOULD I TURN HIM IN? NO.
IF I DID NO ONE WOULD BELEIVE ME.
WHY? BECAUSE HE KILLED PEOPLE IN THE YEAR
EIGHTEEN EIGHTY EIGHT....
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF HIM, THEY CALLED HIM...
JACK THE RIPPER.
DAVID DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE KILLED,
BECAUSE HE'S A GOOD GUY.
THE PEOPLE HE KILLED WERE THE BAD GUYS.
LEAVE HIM ALONE.
NO ONE SHOULD BE EXECUTED.
EXECUTION IS A WASTE OF TIME.
BECAUSE GOD WILL DO IT FOR FREE.

Life imprisonment is the only option. Murder by the state is still murder, and it isn't going to bring back the victims.

Death is too lienient - there is always the chance of reincarnation! Personally I think life in prison, especially solitary confinement, would be worse.
