you should get it cut so that you can donate it to a program like Locks of Love where they make the hair into wigs for children with cancer. That way your hair is going to good use and you will be able to be a bit cooler for the summer. The hair will grow back quicker than you know and will be long for when school starts if you get it cut soon enough.

It is nice you have long hair. First straighten your hair and you will find the real beauty of your hair. Go for reguler trim. Cut your hair 2 inches every month or alternate month. I also suggest don't go for tight braiding. Always let your lose and it is amazing if your long locks of love falls on your shoulder and everytime it falls in your face, you simply move your hair to your back with your hand is awsome. I see so many girls do this. Don't cut too long. Go for reguler trim. Enjoy long hair. I have lot of styles. If you want more details contact me on my email id rangaarunachala@yahoo.com

So don't cut it then!

You can always pull it up to keep it off your neck so it's not so hot. Or plait it into a single braid. Curly hair will do that. It maybe won't be as smoothe looking as braided straight hair, but it will be OK.

The thing is, you shouldn't cut your hair until you are ready to and want to. Forget should.

I've grown my hair out long several times (though never as long as yours), and am always relieved when I cut it off and go back to short hair. I braided my hair before cutting and sent it off to Locks of Love; they make it into wigs for children who have lost their hair to chemotherapy.

If you keep it long, work out some ways to put it up so it's not all sweaty against the back of your neck. I love french braids; a braid coronet looks cool, too.

DON'T SHOCK YOURSELF WITH A DRAMATIC CUT!! LOCK OF LOVE IS A GREAT IDEA BUT YOU ONLY NEED TO DONATE 6 INCHES AT A TIME!! YOU COULD FEEL GOOD FOR DOING SOMETHING GREAT FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS HAIR AND TEST A SHORTER STYLE IN THE MEAN TIME AND IF YOU LIKE THE NEW SHORTER DOO YOU CAN DECIDE FROM THERE HOW MUCH MORE YOU WOULD LIKE TO LOP OFF. MAYBE YOU COULD MAKE 2 DONATIONS!! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN WITH YOUR HAIR STYLE NOT MATTER WHAT YOU DO!!!

you should try to cut it just a little then why don't you try to have it straight ot rebonded...just for once then you maintain it that way..too long hair's not healthy at all, some of the nutrients you're getting from food are being absorbed by your hair...so not every nutrition you needed are being sustained by food you eat..cut it--as you prefer..
