People say as if in denial that God will truly never send anyone into Hell ever because he loves us. He loves us it's true and he also loved us so much that he sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to save us(John 3:16) (from hell). Ever since the fall of man through Adam all have fallen short of the Glory. Every one is effected by Adam's sin, because everyone(future generations) were in his loins when he ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. Man is weak and can not stand merely on his own(so he needs God). Before the saved people who followed God in the old testament would go to paradise when they died which is in hell, but the top of Hell which is the place where there is no fire and they were okay there but couldnt go to heaven because they were not clean yet. Jesus was incarnated into flesh( exactly like a man, but sinless) to take the place of man, to suffer and die for our sins.

He died on the cross to shed his blood so we can have our sins be washed away with his blood and repent and be made perfect again through christ and be clean of sin so that we can enter into heaven.

He also died and while dead took all the old testament people out of paradise and raptured them into heaven. He was then resurrected by God thus defeating death so that the saved who go to heaven will be resurrected in new perfect eternal bodies like him after the tribulation when all sin and rebellion are put down. Hell was created for satan and the rebel angels who rebelled against God. It is also a place where unsaved people and rebels against God go. unsaved people haven't asked for their sins to be forgiven and accept Jesus as their lord and personal savior, will go to hell because they would've died in their sins and God can't have sin in his presence because sin seperates man from God and God loves us so he tries to lure men to him(cause we have free will) and wants us to be saved so we can be with him. Satan tries to make people sin to seperate men from God and plans man's destruction because he hates people because we were created by God and he loves us.

Well, I wouldn't call them insecure. I would say that they either have not done any study of the Bible at all or only scratched the surface or are the victims of some VERY warped interpretations of scripture, if they think they believe in God and believe that. As for the average person who doesn't believe in Hell the do not because if the did they would have to believe in an opposite force an therefore acknowledge that there is an higher being and then lose some of the supposed control of their own lives and most people do not like thinking that they are not in control of their own lives.

Wow, at first i thought the question was straight forward but then I say it require a lawyer to weed throught the undertones and nonesense to get back to the orginal question.

Are people that don't think GOD won't send people to hell insecure- Ah I don't think so! Maybe they don't 'believe in GOD and therefore don't believe he can send anything, or maybe they don't believe in Heaven and Hell but in eveloution or maybe in reincarnation or maybe in that GOD loves everyone so all go to this place called Heaven- more questions then answers my friend and those that have to confirm answers and quit questioning are those that seem insecure - afraid to continue to explore the possibilities of the truly unknown.

No. They just believe different crap than you. You can quote the Bible all day long and it won't prove dick, because people who don't believe in hell (but believe in god) can do the same things. The Bible is an incorent collection of nonsense that can be used to prove/disprove any position you like.

first, let me say that i am totally anti-religious, second, i believe that historical facts were twisted by manipulative sickos, third, that god evolved in the caves with our species, fourth that ALL mysticism is fraudulent, and fifth, that Jesus was a REAL person, whose actual history was changed by the parasitical elite to control the masses. i also believe that it is quite possible that the historical Jesus may have possessed great powers and that he actually could control nature with HIS mind, all the rest is embellishment, over 100 years after his death...

well im an atheist and i can understand why

if your god is all loving then do you really think he would send someone to hell? i mean...what kind of an all loving father would say "mmmm...yeah, il lsend you to that place so you can be tortured fro eternity, sure!"

if thats difficult fro you to understand then you have some absolutely SERIOUS problems...or youre a dumba*s kid and dont really know why you beleive.

its simple. if god is all loving then no one goes to hell, if god is NOT all loving and is actually very hateful then people go to hell to be torured for all eternity.

Its part of the whole "if im a good person i'll go to heaven" pseudo religion that is practiced by people who dont belive in God, but dont like the idea that when youre dead its over and done with. I usually counter the pseudo religion by saying: what is good? how "good" do you have to be to get to heaven? good compared to hitler? good compared to mother teresa? good compared to ghandi? whos doing the judgement of "good" here? That starts them thinking about their pseudo religion. This exposes the weakness in that line of thinking.

Of course there are many reasons. But I would say a predominant one would be naivete'. Some people just haven't seen enough ugliness in this world to really believe that there is a devil and that some people are going to him.

You can spout a bunch of non-sense from the Bible all you want. Religion is for insecure, indecisive, and possibly unintelligent people. It's okay if you are one of these. That is all that needs to be said here.
