I like him, but he's a bit sweet for me. How do I bring out his dark/twisted side? I know it's in there. any suggestions?

you could get him hooked on something. try to feed his desires.
temp him with anything you can think of. just remember sometimes you regret it when your wishes come true.

Most people don't want to see the dark side of someone.If he is
too sweet maybe he is not what you are looking for.

just remind him of all the worst in people and it will all come in time. Sometimes you may just need his good side to keep your life in balance
