There are many times in a person's life when you feel like the entire world is against you. I have experienced MANY of these days. As you said, I feel like my life is nothing but a big cruel joke. These times are obviously NEVER fun at all! But I've learned that life is not perfect. This is a concept that I was able to easily grasp. Life IS cruel. It seems as if I'm in an eternal war with the entire world. The worst part is in this war I'm completely alone. I have no friends or allies to help me. Those who you think are your friends and family can turn against you as easily as a complete stranger. So you feel like you can't trust anyone other than yourself. This is what a great portion of my life is like. Again, life is cruel. But there are times when life can comfort you instead of hurting you. You should embrace these moments as you never know what life will bring you later on.

funny (well, not too funny) what that person said about her wedding day :-)
I'm sorry you're feeling this way, but it happens to everyone. For me it's when I work really hard on a project, bust my a$$, sacrifice family life and fun, and the whole thing ends up going down the tubes. It's like Sisyphus, pushing that damned rock up the mountain... a pointless and futile struggle. the thing to remember is that there are going to be times in your life where you do feel that the sun is shining on you...when luck is on your side. you just have to make it through the hard times. Instead of feeling that life is laughing at you, turn it around, laugh at life, defy those forces that drag you down, be confident that you can make a difference. And don't forget to laugh in life :-)

My son had that day today. The neighbor gave him a 2 week old calf to bottle feed, he had it for about 1 minute and it escaped through the fence. Spent all day looking for it on his horse and then his saddle broke. Still hasn't found it, hopefully it's making it's way back to his mama and he can try it again tomorrow. My son is pretty bummed out......he's only 14.

Every day at work, yes.
Life is blissful at home; at work it is one hideous problem after another. But I need the money. It will always be that way. Just thank Jesus and Mr. Snoid that you don't have my job.
