I think it all depends on the person. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed also. I was totally awake during the whole procedure. They gave me pain pills and I took one after the novicaine wore off. The next day i was fine. I was just glad to have gotten rid of the pain of having my wisdom teeth there.

When I had my four teeth cut out, yes the orthodontist did not even wait for them to come in, I went back to school in a day. My brother unfortunately really swelled up and missed two days. You should be safe with three. Use lots of ice on those cheeks and good luck.

24 hours of complete down time. 2-3 days of taking it easy. A week of being careful when you eat. 3-4 weeks until you feel "normal" again. As far as your mouth is concerned, anyway.

As long as you have no complications like bleeding or dry socket, you're okay for the next day.
