Ok, I can completely understand why you'd want to skip 3 grades based on academic reasons. However, these days, a lot of emphasis is placed on the socialization aspect of school. Most teachers, counselors and parents would rather not have their children/students skip more than one grade in their whole student career. By skipping grades, you set yourself up for a whole bunch of social issues. Being 3 years younger than your peers can illicit jealousy, or other unwanted attention. You're better off to rough it out until you're in high school when you can start taking AP classes. Once you're a Junior or Senior at High School, you can look into dual enrollment which is attending a local community college at the same time that you attend high school, then you're elligible for credits both for High School and University and it looks good on your admissions paperwork for College, and you can knock off 1-2 years off your bachelor's degree. First, tell your parent about your concerns. Second, have them schedule an interview/meeting with your guidance counselor, and teacher and/or principal. They can review your test scores and report cards, and determine whether or not you'd be a good candidate for skipping grades. Good luck! (I know I wished I could have skipped 1 or 2 grades... but now, looking back, I'm glad I wasn't deprived all my experiences)

There's no way you can skip 3 grades. Maybe one, but you have to be REALLY smart, like get all A's on every report card. But, they will not let you skip 3 grades. One only. But, not 3. Especially, in one year. I graduated a year early, but that's because I had a lot of credits, more than I needed. But, to do that, you have to work very hard.

did they recommend you to skip these grades? you can't jsut go there and be all "hey imma skip 3 grades!" if you really think you're that smart and have the potential to skip those grades talk to your counselor. maybe they'll do a check on your record, give you a test or something.

Why do you want to skip so many grades? You must be socially and mentally ready, as well as academically and intellectually. Leaping that far ahead can really lead to depression and alienation, no matter how mature you think that you are. Slow down, enjoy yourself for a while. Breathe, child.

First, go on Yahoo answers and brag about skipping 3 grades. Second, take your interpersonal skills and social life (present and future) and set it on fire....who needs them anyway. Third, call around for a good psychologist that you can talk to in 20 years for when you realize that you missed your childhood, have no friends, and everyone resents your existence. Everything from that point on is just paperwork. Good luck!

Do you plan on being a genius? The only people who I've ever heard about were VERY smart. If you are, too, I'm sure you will figure out a way. Good luck.

You don't get to decide any of this and if you were anywhere near smart enough to skip three grades a teacher would have already noticed.

Not to mention your bad grammar.

Here where I live. It's up to the teacher whether you get to do that or not. I think it would be a bad idea. Take it one year at a time.

First, capitalize your words in the beginning of your sentences, and capitalize your I's. Then let's talk about skipping grades.

1. Study
2. Do your homework and study.
3. More study.
You don't get to determine this. You get tested. You either know the work or you don't.
