I totally agree with you on all accounts. Mayweather, if he continues to duck those deserving of a title shot, will undoubtedly fight a no-name, or, atleast a far less opponent. Mayweather is full of crap! He runs around with a little posse, he is in and out of family court, he is good, but, not a good champion. He refuses to fight fighters. He hand picks bums, and, washed up fighters. Put Baldomir, or, Margarito in the ring with him and watch the punk get worked. Mayweather is fast, and, so is his big mouth. There are more than a few fighters out there awaiting Mayweather at the next weight class. Before he can go there though he needs to prove himself as champion of his own division. For the record, Mayweather is a selfish s.o.b. who cares nothing about you, or, me----why does he need to care about us real fans? I know that he should, in terms of giving the fans what they want, but, he's so caught up in his on B.S. that he actually believes it. The guy is garbage. Good night

You and my brother are my boxing gurus. Say it ain't so! $10 million and he turned it down? The last small speck of respect that I had for "Pretty Boy" Flawed Mayweather has just been smashed into 10 million little pieces. How much could he possibly get for fight Moseley? He would probably get a little more for a fight with De La Hoya. If Flawed straight out came out and said that he would fight Margarito after he fought one of the other two guys, that would be fine. But he is just flat out refusing to fight Margarito.
OK, maybe Margarito hasn't fought enough quality opponents to merit a title shot. But if Mayweather, De La Hoya, Baldomir and the rest of those fighters are ducking Margarito, there must be a reason. I mean they all lined up to fight Vargas or Moseley so why not Margarito? Flawed just wants to make a little bit more money before he fights Margarito, because if he fights Margarito, he knows he runs the risk of getting his butt handed to him. He's a shrewd business man but I just wish he'd come out and say it.
So he fights Moseley later this year or early next year. He then does the boxing world a favor in the summer and knocks De La Hoya into retirement and then sometime in the fall he takes on Margarito. By that point, the world would have to be screaming for that fight.
Otherwise he is exactly what I think he is: a yellow bellied coward, running scared. He wont fight Margarito right now because like I've said before in Margarito, he sees a younger, faster and stronger version of Jose Luis Castillo and we all know that Castillo was robbed when they gave the decision to Flawed. We'll see...

margarito is triing to buy himself a title shot. yes, he is a dangerous fighter, versus C level fighters... his last fight, vs Manuel Gomez, gomez is a taxi driver ... not a world class boxer. floyd is ducking him cause as a buisness man, he looks at risk vs reward. risk is high, and even though the money is high, the reward for beating margarito is; margarito never beat anyone to deserve a shot at mayweather. margarito has to prove to the world he is a top fighter by fighting top fighters. go after some b level fighters, then a name fighter, then mayweather... u cant just jump in with the best p4p cause ur offering him a high payday. unless mayweather wants a tune up, he will pick u, you dont pick him...
floyd wants mosley (risk/reward) then DLH (risk/reward) 2 house hold names, past their prime, its buisness
in the mean time, margarito should look at all the other 147s out there that people know, not Cosme Rivera, who was knocked down with judahs first punch, and koed a few rounds after

Mayweather is ducking and dodging. For a man to be acknowledged as "POUND FOR POUND" the best fighter in the world to turn down a fight that would offer him 10 million dollars in my opinion is beyond comprehension. If you have the talent and drive to put yourself into the position to command that much money for a fight you take it regardless of whom you are fighting!Ice you are dead on!

Feel Mayweather has at most, three fights in the business, and is sticking to that plan
Mayweather v Winky, Moseley and Jermaine Taylor to finish his career.

Perhaps he is waiting for a better offer; I don't know a lot of people - no matter what their profession - who do not bargin for the best deal; but then again, how much better can it get?
I love boxing, watched it for decades, my father was a boxer - I am going to say scared to lose.
