I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow morning and want to make sure I've got everything I need. Only going to be staying there for 3 weeks so what do you think I should bring besides clothes, shampoo, toothbrush, soap, St.Ive's cream, shoes, music player, pen, gameboy, sunglasses, glasses, cologne, and a hat?

Really pare down your clothing--remeber you can wash it if you will be there for that length of time or the hotel can have it cleaned for a nominal fee..Bring one pair of black slacks, one or two pairs of jeans and some khakis (maybe a pair of shorts Depending on where you are going) bring very comfortable shoes one or two pairs only, including the ones you are wearing onto the plane, bring enough shirts for one week and a waterproof (not resistant) jacket that is packable---I always check to see how wrinkle proof my clothing is before I travel (squeeze a section of the garment in your hand to see if it wrinkles, and if so how badly) Anything that wrinkles stays home, i never want to look sloppy while out and about, just bring sample sizes of your toiletries and buy new ones there as needed (it is always fun to sample what is available overseas!) Do not overpack, the weight limit varies by airline and destination so check what weight your luggage must be. I personally travel with only a carryon and am able to fit all of the items I need in it, just remember to roll clothing and pack sensibly--anything you forget can be bought there. Have fun, and don't forget your camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People in Europe use toiletries too. Kind of silly to lug them from here when you can easily purchase the same brands there. Use them up and voila no need to schlep all that crap back.
