What are you wanting to do? make it all brown or make the roots blonde? I would becareful. I have had a few girls come to me at the salon after trying to color themselves and have messed it all up. You need to leave the color on longer if you have resistant hair it may take a while for the color to lift. Do the roots first then add color all over. If you want to lighten the hair, just do the roots first then use whats left of the color and put it on the rest of your hair for the last few min, to even out the color. You can always call the number on the box.
