Yes the Old Testament applies! You can not take this out and leave that in. The problem is that people like to pick and choose what the want to believe out of the Bible. It is all or nothing. Even people such as you should be able to sit down and discover that Old Testament applies to our lives. But believe what ever you want one of us is right and the other wrong. If I am wrong then I am only a fool. If you are wrong......

Atheists are some what foolish indeed.
One would have to define the word," apply " . I don't know anyone today under the new contract that is using the old blood plan for sins.
God set into motion rules that still exist today. One such law is, if a person jumps off a tall building they are going to fall. The same is also true with other areas of life. When it comes to God people decide what will be by their fate actions.

According to me,sorry, the old testament is no need to be applied because it was out of date and its contents were false. We should apply the lates one that is holy qur'an.The attheist are fools and unlogical . in their thinkings. They have no believe that we are created by God including this universe..They believe only the natural law and they did not aware that natural law is a God law.
They know that this earth exist but they do not believe that it has a creator. They do not believe, that after death there is an eternal life.God is not a serial killer. All who have live will die. as a God law.Our spirit is from God and will come back to God as a creator.

Yes the old testament does apply, you see the old testament dealt with exterior, and the New testament deals with interior of man. But the sin of man was not forgotten by god in the old testament, it just was hidden by the blood of sacrifice. In the New testament Christ was sacrificed so that our sins could be forgiven, and forgotten. And about our god being a serial killer, remember he is god.

I disagree. atheists are fools but also scrpitural scoffers.

Let me xplain with God's Words, not mine.

An Atheist is a "scoffer". The WORD of God, clearly tells, ATHEISTS are filhty rags they are, and to stay away
from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us,
"You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that
does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according to God Himself.
Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and
it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the
judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Pslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is
not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your scriptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

Hogwash. Men are men and do not have the love of the holy spirit unless men believe in faith. God loves all beings even when they are lost. He is patient and waits. He is long suffering to allow men freewill. We could never comprehend the love of God. Atheists are not fools. They are confused. When God comes for us in the end, they will see they are wrong and believe. All the world will believe. It is just a matter of faith.

Yeah, old testament...hmmm...words. Words by man who claims God told them to him. Ok...I will buy it except that man translates these words and over time the word is lost in translation. If you believe word for word denotation instead of connotation then you believe women are less than men and I don't believe God believes that. There are a lot of things said in the bible not translated correctly from language to language. I wish I could read the original scripture. I wish I knew more about the history of the time period and the context in which many verses were hidden for the sake of not being persecuted for having a belief in God. Imagine that. At one time if you believed you were persecuted. Now the pendulum swings again. I hope atheists do not feel persecuted. I hope they find faith and love and hope in all things.

contrary to popular belief, I and a lot of Christians don't necessarily believe Atheists are fools. We just get tired of being told we shouldn't worship because you don't.
But as far as the old testament, you also have to take the new into consideration!!
God did a lot of things, he said he would never do again.

So why is it alright to judge those with religion, but GOD forbid, somebody question those without. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

Just because someone believes in a god does not mean they believe that the old testament was inspired by that god

christianity is not the only religion

The old testament applies, and still does. Scripture is the truth, and all prophesies came true thru Jesus Christ. Revelation is true, explaining the end of time signs, which are here and the accelerator has been held down since 9/11, Tsunami, Katrina. Do you fear God's wrath? They are ETERNAL!
