We bought an electric freezer and would like to make some pineapple sherbert. We made a trial batch but it was lacking something. Any good recipes?

Here are a few nice recipies GOOD LUCK.
Pineapple Sherbet
3/4 C. sugar
11/2 C. water
1/4 C. cold water
juice of 1/2 orange
2 egg whites
juice of lemon
1T. gelatin
1/2 C. pineapple juice
1/8 salt
1/2 C.whipping cream
1 C. crushed pineapple drained
Boil the sugar & water together 5 minutes.Add the gelatin
which has been soaked in the cold water 5 minutes. When
cool add the fruit juice & pineapple .Freeze. Add the salt to the egg whites & beat stiff.
Whip the cream until thick but not stiff & combine with the partially frozen mixture then fold in the egg whites & continue
freezing.
Makes 2 quarts.


Lemon Pineapple Sherbet
2 quarts whole milk
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 cups sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring until well blended. When you add the lemon juice, the sherbet will appear to curdle, but that is not a problem. Pour into an electric ice cream maker. Process according to manufacturer's instructions. Transfer sherbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving.


Orange Pineapple Sherbet
INGREDIENTS:
2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
6 (12 fluid ounce) cans or bottles orange-flavored carbonated beverage
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice
1/4 cup orange juice
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl or the canister of an ice cream maker, combine milk, orange drink, pineapple and orange juice. Chill 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator. Then freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturers' directions.

PINEAPPLE SHERBET

1 can crushed pineapple
Juice of 3 lemons
2 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. sugar

Put pineapple and lemon juice in freezer and chill both. Whip the egg whites until stiff. Add 1/4 cup sugar. Mix the pineapple, lemon juice and beat egg whites and add 1/2 cup sugar. Put the mixture into freezer. Fill freezer with whipping cream (not whipped) or milk. This recipe makes 1/2 gallon of sherbet.
Used at Ella Hubbard's wedding. "Out of this world!"

I make this all the time.
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can orange soda
1 can crushed pineapple
Mix together and freeze in ice cream maker. This only makes about a little over a quart. But it is wonderful. We have a small yougart maker and this is perfect.

PINEAPPLE SHERBET

3 lemons or 6 tbsp. lemon juice
3 c. sugar
1 qt. pineapple juice
1 pt. whipping cream
1 qt. Half-n-Half

Squeeze lemons. Mix everything together, add a little milk to bring to 3/4 full. Freeze.
