First there is nothing embarrassing in asking a question and what a great question it is! If you would like God's peace you first need a relationship with him. I'm not talking about just attending church but a relationship that allows him to be the head of your life. It means believing that Jesus died for your sins and that he has and will forgive you of of all of those sins. Now you can begin to experience His peace. Ask God for peace in every area of your life. The bible says that he will give you peace that passes all understanding meaning when you can face situations that would make others turn the other way screaming, you can stand firm and know that God will never leave you or forsake you. So keep your head up as you begin to experience the peace of God.

Unfortunately, it's like most of the babel coming from religions. No real meaning, just a cover answer that will apply to all situations.

For example; God's will. Since there isn't a God this can be interpreted to mean anything. Why did he die? God's will. Forget about the cancer.

Why did I lose the job offer? God's will. Not that fact you've never held a job for longer than a month.

Get the point? Sorry to burst your bubble, but the fact that you are asking is a good sign. Keep questioning and using your head.

Peace is something that God gives to those who are following him. Its a hope in knowing that no matter what happens in life, God will always be there helping us in everything. The only way to obtain peace is by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Only then can you know the peace that God gives, not the peace of this world.

Jesus gives you that wonderful peace, when He saves you. We have to walk close to the Lord, and put our Faith, and Trust in Him. We need to live our lives, pleasing to Him. Instead of worrying, we should pray and ask God to have His will in any situation. Just Trust in Him. Jesus never fails. When you turn everything over to the Lord, you will find that sweet peace in Him.

Tuflady's answer was right on. I'll add this, prayer can do wonders. Pray, all the time. Prayer doesn't have to be down on your knees with your head bowed. Prayer is talking to God. I do it a LOT when I'm driving (so it's a good thing I'm not kneeling with my head bowed). Ask God to give you peace. Make sure you have some private, quiet time to yourself, so it's just you and God and you will feel peace.

Peace in the Lord may mean different things to different people. What it means to me is to have peace in whatever situation good or bad that may cross my path and know that God is always with me. Bottom line.. trust in God.

Peace in the Lord pretty much means Your in good faith with the Lord... You trust him, believe in him, & are content in him & all he has blessed you with.

Your at peace with your faith & your life... You take the good with the bad...& the bad does not affect your faith & trust in him.
(It is unshakeable & unbreakable ) :)

Don't worry you will learn as you grow in the Lord...
No matter how long you walk with him.. He will teach you something new everyday... All you gotta do is keep him your main focus & keep on learning as much as you can about God..
Read your Bible & Pray daily & don't pay no mind to the remarks of the leftys, & anti God crowd.

They are scoffers & ignorant selfseeking people who know not what they speak of.

GOD BLESS & keep the faith!

Nothing is so uplifting for the whole mind, heart, and soul, then the inner peace of Christ our Lord in our lives. Nothing is so profound and beautiful in this life, and on this earth then to be at peace in the perfection of Christ our Lord. We ourselves are not so perfect in our human nature, but we find true perfection and true holiness in our Gracious Lord Jesus Christ. Peace comes to us inwardly when we struggle, pray, pray, and pray. Pray for the forgiveness of our sins, and pray that our Lord God will guide us on the path towards our salvation and sharing with us His inner peace.

When you finally find that inner peace, you know nothing matters except serving Him, because no matter what He will provide for you and take care of you. There is no doubt
