10,000 miles, yes, the brakes have been "turned" twice now, The service manager warned me it wold probably come back and they would replace the brake drums entirely.

If your drums have been resurfaced (turned) then no a new
pair won't cure the problem.
The noise you hear might be normal, but for most cars
you don't hear anything from the back brakes.

It is possible that whoever turned your brake drums
did a lousy job and they are "out of round" (meaning oval).
Is the car real old? High Milage? we really need a little more info.

How much noise? change the brake pads but if the rotors are bad or need turned you are wasting your time putting on new pads as they will have to be replaced more often if you dont do this. get your wheel bearings checked out also. Are your brakes self adjusting?have a reputable person get you up on a lift and check everything out. who is doing your work? sounds like you need a new mechanic if you havent found the problem by now

Fvck that dealer where you bought your car. Fourth time is INEXCUSABLE. Most car brands under warantee can be serviced by any dealer certified by that brand.

Go to a different garage. Find someone else who has bought the same brand of car as you, maybe a relative or brother, and ask how the same brand garage services his car in another town. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Or you can just let them keep jackin' around with your car.

Try wire brushing the inside of the drum.

You could need new Rotors. It can cause noise and vibrations that are annoying.
