I am a vegetarian.
Because I dont want to make my stomach a graveyard.
Also I dont want to kill animals for my hunger, when there is a plenty of yummy veg food available.

I am a non vegetarian. The "vegetarian"-ism is a load of crap. "Oh I don't want to eat animals because they're innocent" oh boo-fricken-hoo! They were put on this earth to be put into your body and eaten. Do you people realize that if there were no meat to be eaten on this earth that humans would be overrun? Did you ever think about that? Meat provides you with nourrishment that nothing else you eat can. If you are a true vegetarian you pretty much don't eat anything. Don't you feel BAD that you're eating a little plant... IT WAS ALIVE TOO!! You KILLED it to EAT it. I never understood how that was ANY fricken different than eating an animal. God didn't create vegetarians. In the Bible-days they lived off of fish and wine. Don't you stupid PETA lovers know anything? Eating meat is in the food chain.
Don't get me wrong... I don't like the whole "kill and don't eat" situation like with coats and such. My father is a hunter, but when he kills a deer, we eat it. I am a fisherwoman and when I catch fish, we eat it. We don't make fur coats out of things and all of that nonsense. That's just stupid. That's animals dying for an unneeded reason.

I am a vegetarian. There are many reasons, but the most important one for me is that I find the killing of animals simply unjustifiable - especially when there is more than enough fruit and vegetables to go around.
Actually, I think it is the meat-eaters which should have to justify their position, as vegetarianism is the most natural choice for any enlightened being.

im not a vegetarian, but i keep kosher so that limits alot of meat i could eat, according to the Torah (old testament) it says you can eat meat, but it is one of the things that too much of is a bad thing and that you should be careful how often you eat it (that may have been said by rashi, a famous commentator.) when a cow is slaughtered, if it is going to be kosher meat, they do not treat it in inhumane ways like some non-kosher slaughterhouses (in my opinion anyway.)
really good question
as i once read on a bumper sticker "if god didn't want us to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?" ;)
have a gr8 week! :)

Vegetarian. I started for health reasons (family history of heart disease, allergic to poultry and eggs.) The longer I go without eating meat, the more repulsive it seems to me. Also, I am learning more about animal behavior, and it's harder to want to eat or wear one after that. I actually shuddered at a picture of a nicely-done steak on the cover of a cooking magazine yesterday--I *never* thought I'd do that!

Non-veggetarian.
Proteins and amino acids necessarily for life and body cells only come from meats, just not in excess.
Vegs and fruits are virtually all carbohydrates, which puts you on a sugar diet which overtaxes the liver and pancrease, plus tends to add weight unless you work out or eat in moderation only.

I AM a vegetarian simply because I don't like to be a walking and talking cemetery of animals.
Meat is the other name for DEAD rotting flesh disguised with flavours, sauces and condiments.
I think it's pretty plain to see. Yuck!
Killing and cruelty to animals keeps us (human species) and our minds on a circle of violence and aggressiveness.

Non veggie. I like meat! It's only natural for an omnivore. Plus there is no way to be a veggie. Do you know how much animal protein in the form of insects are in veggies. More than you care to know, I'll tell you that.

people are omnivores, that is why are teeth are developed the way they are. anyone who says otherwise is wrong. it may be true that the treatment of some animals may be cruel but the fact is that most are not. also if you want to avoid mistreatment of animals just eat kosher meat. the standards for making kosher meat are much higher adn stricter then the fda.
