Hi,

When i was 15 and 16, i thought about it alot. I am gay, and i felt like i wouldnt be able to fit into society, i thought my family would dis-own me, and i also thought my friends would stop being friends with me.. This scared me alot. But i could never actually go through the suicide. I didnt really want to hurt myself, and i knew there were people out there who loved me for who i am.. and there are..

A lot of people commit suicide, and the reasons for it vary as much as the people themselves. Most people believe that it will end all their problems, but in most cases the problems weren't anything that couldn't have been worked through. A lot of teenagers struggle with the overwhelming sense of failure or the desire to seek revenge by "making" someone sorry, such as a former girlfriend/boyfriend, or their parent's. Whatever the reason is, suicide creates a lot of pain for the survivor's and what could be more selfish and cruel than allowing someone you love to find your lifeless body? My cousin shot himself in front of his mother when he was 17 because she wouldn't let him drive the car one night and his death still haunts and hurts her years and years later. I don't think he meant to really do it, but he was just trying to scare her and the gun went off. If you, or someone you know is thinking of committing suicide, please reach out and ask for help. Nothing is so bad that it should cost you your life.

I dunno why ur askin this question but I have been there and done that ... and the best way I can put it is like this... people who choose to "end" or "attempt" to end thier lives all have this one thing in common despite there very different walks of life... and the one thing is this ... people submitt themselves to thoughts or attempts of suicide because their emotional pain is so overwhelming that the only way they feel they can cope with thier pain is to end thier life... unfortunatly they often learn too late the consquences of thier actions ... if you would like to know more... feel free to contact me at ashleycs87@yahoo.com

When I had miscarried and my husband (now ex) said "maybe you can do better next time", I tried to hug him and tell him i loved him... and he just pulled away... my world was crashing around me. Luckily i wasn't successful. I know now there are so many more options than suicide... it was a stupid thing to try... but then... i wasn't too bright in those days... i got smarter when i got divorced from him.

I did in Feb of 2005. I did so because I was so depressed and I had no one in my life and I wanted to disappear.
