July and August are the busiest times in Devon and Cornwall, you need to book at least a year in advance - as there are very few cancellations, and they tend to be VERY expensive. Some places charge £300/400/500 for a single week

for late deals you might be better of looking on the internet and look at some of the holiday camps like haven and hoseasons which may have a few vacancies left for the time of year or try some of the smaller independent holiday camps look under the devon tourist board for web sites
