This is a question for Christians out there. I don't need answers from non-Christians stating how Christianity sucks or how they don't believe in either. I am just curious as to which people believe which way. Please don't complicate things if you are not a Christian. Now for the question.

Do you believe that God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are one, or do you believe they are 3 seperate entities? Please, if you feel like sharing, also say what denomination you belong to, if it applies.

Thank you.

I believe they are separate. Jesus said the Father is greater than he is. Jesus prayed for not his will but his Fathers be done. Jesus stated that only his Father knows when the great tribulation will begin, He said neither himself nor the angels know that. If Jesus were God, he would know when that will occur. There are many Scriptures proving that God is the Father and Jesus is the Son. The holy spirit is God's active force that he uses to accomplish his purposes.
I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The Trinity is very difficult to understand, and I don't believe we can ever fully understand God while we are still on this earth since we are finite and God is infinite.
God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three separate, simultaniously existant entities, each with His own specific role, while at the same time being only one God. That is an amazing thing about God that we can't even begin to comprehend.

My simple understanding is this: the same way my dad is my Father, he's also his fathers Son, he's also Husband of my mother... so when we're in the room with him, my grandpa calls him son, I call him Dad and my mum calls him hubby...but he's one person...

Also the same way that H2O can be in liquid, gas and solid state - water, steam and ice... (or milk can be frothed, cheesed or drunk in it's different states)... So in my eyes God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all the same 'person' manifested in different ways then one... Bible also say God is Spirit, so as steam/water/ice can penetrate textile, or wet solid objects, or even drill a hole under high pressure, so God can be everywhere at the same time, influencing Earth and the ends of the universe, wherever that might be...

So I got no problem with Trinity, and honestly I can't beleive why others do... it's very simple, possable and probable in my eyes...

The simple answer is three distinct entities in such close union that they operate in character and will as One.

Just for an extra point of exploration. The Bible speaks of the "seven Spirits of God". Seven is the biblical number of perfection.

Who is Yahweh, but infinite Holiness and Love. It will take an eternity to explore His fullness. There will be no end. I do not believe that our finite minds will completely understand His/Her fullness. We also cannot fit God into a box of our human understanding.

Jesus and God the Father are 'seperate' in that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God in heaven. The Holy Spirit is God and Jesus' Spirit and we have Him with us thru the Holy Spirit

U cant have one without the other though....If you dishonor the Son you dishonor the Father and vice versa. And you cant get to the Father but thru Me says Jesus

Good Question!

Christ was the first thing God created, as in God created God.
Separate but the same.
The holy spirit is a feature of God like his finger when he wrote the 10 commandments

Are they separate yes are they God yes.
Three facets of the same entity

I am non-denominational. I believe that they are the same and separate. It cannot be explained why I believe this, I just do.

many places in the new testament Jesus says that if you have seen the son you have seen the father.

I don't believe that they are three seperate entities. I believe that they are one being, but they arrive in three serperate states.
They are just like water. Water can be a liquid (GOD) a solid (Jesus) and a gas (the Holy Spirit).
They just come in different forms.
