Wow, this is stupid. I am all for watts, because I am into the competition side of things, but 12,000 watts? I think a newby like you is overestimating things just a little. Are you planning on making this car a daily driver or just pure SPL competition, because if you are planning competition (seriously and not just to show everyone how you think your cool.) it will more than likely not be a daily driver. You can get a very bad A$$ system with less watts. Just because it has 12,000 watts doesnt mean it will be the hardest hitting, most clean sounding system. A big factor to getting good bass is a well built box. Getting good speakers will do a lot for clarity, along with good eq skills, good head unit and processing units, and know ALOT about Car audio when you are dealing with that much wireing, and just the way you will have to setup the whole car, batteries, alternators, and various other things. However it is your money and if you want to spend close to $4,000 just for the amp for the subs, I would go with the HIFONICS line (Maximus), then however much power you decide to put towards the speakers, the price of that amp. (dont run the subs and speakers off of the same amp, unless its a multi channel and big amps like that are not multi channel) Next up would be the Subs, once you get into big power the price goes up as well. Speakers, deck, eq's You are talking $erious Money. Tone it down a little, and if you want advice, go to www.realmofexcursion.com and into the Forum section to get user reviews of subs and amps, that will hit hard without that much power.

Hifonics Maxximus 10,000 watts rms 20000 max, your gonna need a serious chargeing system though, seeing as how most stock alternators only put out 85 amps max and that amp will eat 1000 by itself your gonna need 5 250 amp alternators which run about 500 apeice plus your gonna have to find some wizard that can get all of those belt driven which is gonna cost you major bucks IF its possible. Oh and you shouldnt use the amp for your subs on your mids and tweets

Ummm...Do you have 240 VAC @ 400 amp service?

I work for an audio company and we just installed the sound system in the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, IL. We put in fifteen 1,000 watt amps (15,000 watts). These things weren't small by any means. They went in with DSP's, Nions, EQ's and digital processors all in 5 racks, 6 feet tall each. It is quite an impressive setup.

The size alone would be too big to put in any vehicle as well as the power requirements to run it.

If this amp does exist, then you can go buy kraco speakers, because you can't afford any real one's after the amp, and besides, this size amp is comperable, to a stadium amp, you'll go deaf, the glass will explode in the car. Get real and buy smart, go to crutchfield.com, and get what ya need.

I would just attach a jet engine to the roof of the car. They will both deliver the desired attention seeking rush and as a bonus will help the car move faster.
