It took me almost two weeks to come up with a name for my dog Wiley (a Golden Retreiver/Sheltie mix who looks like a mini retreiver). She was chasing the cat one day and ran into a tree, fell into a hole, and slipped into the pond. I named her after Wile E. Coyote. I have a Chow Chow named Kodi because she looks like a Kodiak bear sometimes. When you choose a name for your dogs, it helps to look at their personality and appearance. If one is soft and cuddly, you could call it Teddy (as in Teddy bear). How about Amber or Sunny for light colored dogs? Name one after your favorite actor, singer, or athlete. I had a cat named Jordan (after Michael). I have a cat named Riggs after Mel Gibson in the Lethal Weapon series. Be creative. By the way, if you're not planning on keeping all 12 pups, you may want to leave the naming to the future owners (instead of stressing out over it).
