So, I'm interested in a guy who is 23, almost 24, and I'm 19, almost 20, is that a big age difference? Would most guys see my age and look onward?

I wouldn't think so, but I'd say you're still at the age when age differences change really quick. There is a HUGE difference between 18 and 14 right? There's nothing significant between 30 and 26 though. All I'd say is you're an adult. That's all that really matters

thats a very minor age difference. the only reason a guy that closeto you in age may pass is because you cant go to the bars. Im 29, and i date girls that are 19 and 20 and as old as mid 30s. as you get older the gap in years is less significant. what was a huge gap when you were in hs is minor when you are an adult

Not a big deal at your age. (Now, if you were 15 and he was 19, that'd be illegal in most states...)

Think of it -- by the time you're 32 and he's 36, or you're 78 and he's 82, what difference does it make?

My wife and I are two years apart, except for the month and a half after my birthday and before hers, when we're three years apart. It's meaningless... except that I'll be eligible to withdraw from my 401(k) before she is. :-)

At the age that you're at, four chronological years is not a large difference. However, do consider the difference in your intellectual ages and maturity. I know this sounds corny, but today, we have 15-year-olds who are very mature people. We also have 45-year-olds who are immature. Consider this when investing in a relationship.

No it is not. And since you both are of legal age, then that should be A-okay. My age gap with my boyfriend is about 3+ years..and I started dating him when I was 17 and he was 20. Good luck!

Nope, it would matter if you're 15 and dating an 11 year old. GO FOR IT! :) Best of luck.
and nope, in the 20s are fine. I don't find a big difference, just when you're young.. as in the teenage years.

It depends on your maturity level and his. Girls tend to mature faster than boys even through their twenties. (Some people never mature past high school) I think four years at your age is not a big difference. You're probably both where you need to be to have a healthy relationship. Good luck to you and God bless.

Age is just a number...that goes nicely with a woman's measurements.

:p

No, it's not a big age difference. If you two can strike up a conversation about things that you both enjoy and find important, age is just a number as they say.

That is not a big age difference if you think that it will work then go for it. You have nothing to lose from experiencing this situation
