Tuna is the best by far because it is a firm fish, salmon works but in steak form rather then fillet, Snapper is good if you grill the whole fish to fragile otherwise. Recommend a nice lemon tarragon butter for the salmon and serve a nice tropical fruit salsa with the Tuna papaya, mango, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, and fresh cilantro yum yum I hope this helps other great fish for grilling is swordfish, halibut is awesome with a little bit of teriyaki brused after it is grilled and a slice of grilled pineapple.

Grilling snapper is a bad idea directly on the grill. It will fall apart.

Salmon is OK to grill, but I'd still use foil. Tuna or swordfish is probably the best when you grill directly over the coals. Halibut works OK as well.

the best fish for grilling is flake, bream, blue grenader, whiting and flouner because you find that it doesnt shrink as much or dry out and most of them dont take very long to grill, maybe 4mins on each side

My favorite fish is mahi mahi (dolphinfish). But Tuna grills really well. Especially if you marinate it in Asian seasonings.
