I am trying to plan a trip to Australia and am wondering wat are some good reliable travel agencies in the U.S.

If you're looking for the trip planning, you don't need a full service agency unless you're worried about arranging your own stuff or don't want to bother with it. To me, that was part of the fun. Reading a few travel books and planning as I went.
Anyways to answer your question, you can call someone like Liberty-Gogo, American Airlines Vacations, or American Express. AAA travel if you have a AAA card is good too.
Have a great time! And be sure to visit the opera house in Sydney. I had the best prawns in the world there!
