Absolutely! Losing sight is not pleasant by any means, but there is so much more to life than sight. Your other senses would increase to help compensate - and I wouldn't miss driving a car all that much.

I depend more on sight than any other sense but I certainly would consider life worth living still, even if I lost it.

It would make a lot of the things I do now very difficult. But it could overcome. That is no reason to give up living.
