Are traffic cameras used in New Jersey for giving speeding tickets?

All of these cameras at intersctions in NJ; are they used for speeding or just monitoring traffic flow?

Both, some will even get a ticket mailed to you for running a red light. No points on your lic. just a large fine. If you don't pay you can't renew your drivers lic or car registration
