Let the kitty of a little fun in life. A corn chip now and then is not gonna hurt it. An inside cats life span is around the 20 year mark. Some a little longer some a little shorter. Make sure you take kitty to vet every year for its shots. And feed it good healthy kitty food.

As a habit I wouldn't recommend it. A cat is a carnivore and should be fed a high quality food (we "free feed" ours dry they can eat anytime, with a canned "treat" at night).

In addition, more and more cats are getting diabetes from being overweight - corn chips certainly won't help that! :-P

On the other hand, it won't hurt them to have that occassional snack and it's kinda fun if they enjoy it. Personally, I'm more apt to hand feed ours a bit of chicken, fish or meat. They love to share!

cats are true carnivours they shouldnt be fed stuff that isnt meat... a lot of cheap cat foods use corn as a cheap filler but it can cause problems becuase the cat fills up on something that is hard for its tummy to digest

eat the chips yourself and feed the cat proper cat food

My cat eats almost anything I eat and she's been healthy her whole life. She's now 9 years old. She likes potatoe chips, nachos, corn chips, spaghetti, macaroni salad, olives, bread, mushrooms, etc. I also give her cat food too because it's made with the nutrients she needs.

Why in the world would you do this? Cats don't want corn. It's bad enough that there is probably corn in the cat's food anyway.

The fat in the corn chips is not good for your cat.

Why would you do such a thing? Those chips are full of preservatives and salts that the cat does NOT need.

Fine as long as it isn't more than a bite or two. I have a cat that likes potato chips.
