Normally no, it depends on where your connecting at. Boston is one airport you have to go back through security in some terminals, same with JFK. Most airports you dont. Go to the airports websites and print off a map. You can also check the gates, just enter the flights and it will tell you the gates they depart/arrive from. The gates are pretty much the same every day. Changing planes is no big deal. The connecting gate is on the boarding pass of your second flight, but when you arrive make sure you check the monitors to ensure that there hasnt been a gate change. When in doubt ask, that is what the agents are there for.

Usually what you do is you get off and ask that gate attendent where the gate is that you are going to is. Sometimes before you de-board the flight attendents will come on the intercom and give you the gate numbers to connecting flights. Also, you can pull out the magazine of the airlines that you are flying and look at the airport as to where you are going and that will help you figure out where the next gate that you need to go to is. YOu can take them with you. But your best bet is ask a gate attendent when you get off the plane of the airport that you will be changing planes. Just give them your flight number.

When you get off the first plane you will be in a termenal then check an arrival and departure screen for what gate your next flight is leaving from. Then walk over to it and wait. You do not have to go back through sercurity. Hope this helps. Good luck tomorrow

most likely you would not have to go through security again. make sure you know what terminal and gate your connecting flight is at and go directly to that gate. once you get off the plane you can ask airline staff questions, if you have any trouble.
