I am not saying that religious people shouldn't be allowed on here, it just seems that there are an overwhelming number of people on here that think that telling someone they are going to hell is going to save them.

Obviously I am not talking about the people in the religion and spirituality section. Of course I would expect to hear some ideas about religion in here.

There are certain issues that people are passionate about. Religion is one of them, or lack of it.

I don't understand how come so many people on here tell others you can't go too hell. Is this because there is not enough religious people on here?

here is something that may help answer you.

An Atheist is a "scoffer". The WORD of God, clearly tells, ATHEISTS are filhty rags they are, and to stay away
from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us,
"You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that
does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according to God Himself.
Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and
it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the
judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Pslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is
not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5)

scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull

down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your scriptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

"Overly religious" is a relative term. For some of us, there is no such thing. But I agree with Rae and others--when you are religious or spiritual, you usually are passionate about what you believe, and you want others to understand how you feel, and hopefully some will want to have that same feeling that you feel about it. That is what the religion and spirituality category is for, after all, and anyone who doesn't like it doesn't have to look at it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's probably because this is the Religion and Spirituality section! Would it make more sense if there were mostly atheists on the REGLIOUS AND SPIRTUALITY section? I don't think so.

This is the "Religion and Spirituality" section of Yahoo! Answers.

Posts are a direct reflection of real life ... with the exception that you get to really see what people are like; in your everyday real life, they typically keep these opinions to themselves as to not draw attention to their personal beliefs and risk offending or ostracizing themselves from others.

As "Freedom of Speech" is still a constitutional right, people come and express their opinions as they have every right to.

Religion and Spirituality? Grasp the concept. Why would you be in this forum if you are going to complain about religious and spiritual posts?

I don't think we're overly religious just overly tired of the nasty way that alot of people are in this place. I won't go away though cuz I think I'm doing some sort of good by expressing my thoughts and feelings that are positive.

"Overly" religious? That is your judgment. What consitutes "overly" religious. Is it anyone who believes in God? Anyone who follows a religion at all? Anyone who is spiritual or believes in a higher being? We are allowed to have any beliefs that we choose, in the frequency and quantity of our choice. Or not at all, if that's what we want.

Yeah, if you visit the religion section it is both hillarious and frightening. Click on my profile and look up my one question about religion (big mistake). Then find TJ 57. Read his answer and click on him. Look at his questions and answers and click on his 360. Whoa... scary!
