where's the best place to meet good people, men or women?

There's no really specific place to meet good people. I've met good people at work, church, and school, but I've also met crummy people in the same places. It all depends. Just have a good attitude and be pleasant and you'll meet some nice folks.

Here you will find local meet-up groups of all sorts. It's free to register and sign up with groups. Just put in your zip code, pick a group you like (based on your interests) and they will post when the next meet-up is. A lot of groups meet up a couple times a months, some just once. It's a great way to meet new people with common interests :)

I think right here on Yahoo answers.

I think there are some wonderful, well read, educated, sensitive men that answer questions here.

Reading their answers can give you an insight into their thinking.

You can tell if there is subtlety to their humor.

You can tell their level of literacy. (Or at least, if they know how to use a spel checker.) (That was deliberate.)

There are some wonderful men right here. In fact, as it happens to be, I even know one.
